Point of View Studio is a professional portrait studio located in Old Town Takoma Park, Maryland on 7002 Carroll Avenue. Tom Radcliffe, owner and operator of Point of View Studio has maintained the studio's location since 1975 and has 30+ years experience as a photographer. Tom has also owned and operated studios in New York City and shot commercial photography in England. The studio is fully equipped to accommodate large groups of people, as well as individuals.

If you wish to take a tour of the studio or schedule an appointment, please call (301) 270-2340.

Photographs can be taken in black-and-white or in color. Headshots, three-quarter shots and group shots are available. Special characterization, use of props, or special effects makeup are also available by request.

Session lengths for headshots or ¾ photos are one hour. For a combination session of headshots and ¾ photos the session length is approximately 1½ hours.

The typical session includes around four contact sheets and two different 8x10 B&W prints for the headshot session and three different 8x10 B&W prints for the headshot/¾ combination. There is no maximum amount of film used in a session. The photographer will continue to shoot until he thinks you have what you need. If it takes five or six rolls of film - so be it, but it is never less than four.

Our goal is to give our clients a variety of different looks and characters from one studio session, so plan on bringing five to ten changes of clothing ranging from "blue jean casual" to "black tie formal", and also items to change your hair.
